Had an awesome time reading stage directions for Powderburn, a new play by Joshua Seidner, at the New York Theatre Workshop today! Followed by an awesome time reuniting with the beloved Alivewire Theatrics crew for another awesome reading!
Magic gig tomorrow. Meeting up with Tanya early to jam, riff and conspire. Gonna spend the day getting goodness ready.
On December 30th hugeness is happening. I am MCing (with WILL SCHMIDT) the launch party for this awesome band, Noon:30, at GALAPAGOS in Brooklyn. I know, a lot of capital letters. This will be the first time Will and I perform together in two and a half years (Will is a long time writing partner of mine). The night will involve some pretty outrageous comedy, an aerial act from Madeline Hoak (which I'll be involved with some how), breakdancers, burlesque, Will jamming as a mime with a freestyler, and of course Noon:30. I could go on and on about this. I'll post the link to the facebook event as soon as there is one.
