After getting a new phone and fixing my computer I thought I ought to celebrate by posting.

Here's a thing! http://philadelphia.cbslocal.com/category/watch-listen/video-on-demand/?auto&topVideoCatNo=default&clipId=5754304&flvUri&partnerclipid

Taking a trip to the alma mater tomorrow with fellow clown/'Berg alum Leslie Berkowitz.

Getting along oh-so-well with my fellow puppeteers.  We're talking about starting a puppet improv ensemble called FOPI (Found Object Puppet Improv).  And we're starting to get really comfortable with our characters, as more and more odd contigencies come up for us to perform in.

Should be getting my script from Lost Nation soon.

Starbucks Office Hours

Hello from Starbucks wireless! (still off the grid for the moment).

A more detailed and less lazy update will follow, with plenty of links.  Right now i'll merely mention/brag that our X-Tink-Shun puppets are getting a TON of press.  Especially from Philadelphia's channel 6, which is one of the zoo's main sponsors.  But we'll also be appearing on CBS3 tomorrow, and Good Morning America on May 5th.  And we're popping up here and there on other channels and websites.

I'm considering making a seperate press page for the website to keep it all organized.  Just not sure where I'd put it.

I LOVE my fellow puppeteers.  The training process was a ball.  And my first week has been full of hilarious and odd experimentation, figuring out what's the best way to be a fake tamarin in a zoo.  Also, I used my eyeball puppet with the real tamarins, and they were fascinated.

Just recieved my contract from LNT for Midsummer.  Oh boy oh boy!

The closest thing we're going to get to rehearsal started today!

Noel MacNeal is awesome.  Really playful, and he loves to laugh.  I ended up getting put on the spot and performing Leo, the Golden Lion Tamarin.  Leo primarily speaks in rhyme - something I think I'm notoriously bad at.  BUT it actually seemed to be a pretty good/hilarious fit.  The voice I found myself doing was a combination of the Charles Manson character I created in college, and... Mitch Hedberg.  I'm debating whether to have some verbatim Mitch Hedberg jokes prepared, just in case.  Can't hurt.  Kevin pointed out the frozen banana joke, which would be apt.

Soooo I'm going to go work on Leo's 'script' and study tamarins.  For tomorrow.

This isn't perfect in my opinion - lots of subtle little things I would change - but I know some people who would enjoy seeing it, so here it is!  This is Kim's and my new piece.  I think it's going to have a fun future.

Hope this link works: http://sharing.theflip.com/session/769aa36e19f6f98e981fd78fd921b09e/video/76136341
