New Orleans Fringe: was awesome. The city is as cool and unique and totally strange as people said it would be. We got to develop the show so much further, and we got fantastic feedback, and seemed to benefit quite a lot from word of mouth. We met so many awesome theatre fans and theatre artists. And we got great advice from some fringe-doing-veterans. One of our major future goals is to create a more comprehensive tour, with multiple stops.
We also, of course, want to take the, say, hour of material we have at this point, and develop it into a two act show (about an hour and a half). We just tried out some new material in Puppet BloK, in which we presented a half hour excerpt of the show. It was SO awesome having free access to the theatre to rehearse in, too.

Couple of other irons in the fire, of course. We've been asked to perform, as Doppelskope, in the Circus Warehouse's next Caught in the Act. I have a short trip to Vermont coming up, to help teach a workshop at Lost Nation Theatre. I may be doing walk-around magic at a casino in Connecticut. I've been auditioning all over the place, so we'll see what comes of that! And I'm looking into doing a training intensive at the Margolis Method Center.
