Well, Ubu Roi has certainly come together. Our first shows went very well, and it's time to get ready for this weekend of performances. Hopefully I'll be able to see some of the other fringe shows, too!
With the busy season for X-Tink-Shun coming to a close and the fringe festival wrapping up, I'm going to have some more time, which I plan to take full advantage of. An Existential Sing-Along's performance at Dixon Place is being rescheduled, which will give us more time to get ready for our run in New Orleans. Ora, industrious as ever, is trying to book us at the PIT (People's Improv Theatre) in NYC.
I'm going to be auditioning quite a lot in the next few months, which should be exciting. I've also got some new material I'd love to start working on... and I'm going to take some of my extra time to devote to yoga and aerial, which I've been missing. I'll also be taking this class in Leqoc Clown (which I am also coincidentally the model for, since my friend is organizing it and took the promo pictures): https://sites.google.com/site/kchick/workshops.
And I'm finally learning the harmonica. And I just invented hummus. Bam.
